The MARTIN's books on "COMMENTARIES AND JURISPRUDENCE OF THE PHILIPPINE COMMERCIAL LAWS" were previously published way back in 1954 and then in 1958. Since the original two-volume set of the books became very bulky dur to additions made, required by the continuing expansion and enrichment of Philippine jurisprudence on commercial laws, the two-colume set was made in the 1961, and 1970-1971 revised editions to four volumes.
