ABOUT Justice Gabriel T. Robeniol

Atty. Gabriel T. Robeniol is the Head of the Litigation and Intellectual Property Rights Department of the Feria Tantoco Robeniol Law Firm.
He has been with the Firm since 1987 starting as an Associate. He had a brief stint with the Office of the Solicitor General, working as an Associate Solicitor from 1987 to 1991, after which he returned to the Firm. He was promoted to Partner in 1996, and later on to Name Partner in 2008. His practice in litigation covers civil, criminal, labor, maritime, insurane, tax and corporate cases, in various fora including the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, Court of Tax Appeals, Sandiganbayan, Regional Trial Courts, Metropolitan/ Municipal Trial Courts, Office of the Ombudsman, National Labor Commission, Department of Justice, Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board and the Intellectual Property Office.
Atty. Robeniol is a Bar Reviewer and Professor of the Faculty of Civil Law of the University of Santo Tomas where he taught Property Law, Labor Law, Administrative Law, Public Corporations, International Law, Constitutional Law, Political Law, and Torts and Damages. He currently teaches Alternative Dispute Resolution and Intellectual Property Law in the same University.
He finished his degree in Bachelor of Arts and Letter Major in Economics in 1982 from the University of Sto. Tomas. He graduated magna cum laude from the Faculty of Civil Law in 1986 from the same university and passed the Bar Examinations given on the same year.
He is a Director and the Corporate Secretary of the Rapid Forming Corporation, JAPRL Development Corporation, and Commerce Asia Inc., and a Trustee of the JAPRL Foundation, Inc., among other corporations. He is the Corporate Secretary of the La Salle Green Hills Alumni Association, Inc..
He is a member of the Philippine Bar Association and is the Firm's Representative to the Intellectual Property Association of the Philippines.
