As established in previous editions — historically, this humble project — Verba Juris — was initially conceptualized during the preparation for the 2013 Philippine Bar Examinations when we were tasked to prepare review notes for the barristers in one of the law schools where I was a faculty member.
Instead of opting for the usual reviewer that most, if not all law schools prepare and provide, we decided to prepare a simple supplement that provides a set of doctrinal pronouncements of the High Court included in the coverage of the bar exams that year and utilizing as a general guide the prescribed syllabi issued by the Supreme Court.
