Attorney Jedrek C. Ng graduated from the University of Santo Tomas with a Bachelor of Arts Major in Behavioral Science in 1997 and a Bachelor of Laws in 2002. He has a background in the legal aspects of anti-human trafficking. Previously employed as a legal consultant for UNICEF Philippines, Atty. Ng was appointed as an Assistant City Prosecutor in the City of Manila before joining the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT), Department of Justice (DOJ). Prior to joining the DOJ, Atty. Ng worked as an Associate Solicitor in the Office of the Solicitor General in 2004 and as a special counsel for intervention for International Justice Mission, an international human rights NGO that prosecutes cases involving child trafficking and abuse. He is currently a Professional lecturer in various Faculties of Law, teaching various law subjects such as Human Rights Law, Public International Law, Criminal Law, Civil Procedure, Criminal Procedure, and Human Trafficking Law. He has written several books, the most recent of which is Philippine Laws and Jurisprudence on Anti-Human Trafficking.
