Since 1993, Dean Alberto Laserna Deslate has been teaching legal practice. He covered subjects such as Corporation Law, Municipal Corporation, Land Titles and Deeds, Legal Forms, and Practicum.

He received the 2019 Distinguished Bedan Award in Education from his alma mater, San Beda University. Concurrently, he is a Dean of Colegio de la Purisima Concepcion, Roxas City, Pasig. He has handled primarily corporate and land dispute cases, and he has also been retained as counsel by a number of corporations in Capiz.

His book, Law On Cybercrime in the Philippines, is his first work as an author.
