The author is the Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 21, Imus City, a commercial court for the province of Cavite. Prior to her appointment in the Judiciary, she used to be a Senior Assistant City Prosecutor of the City of Manila for a decade. She is a Commercial Law professor since 2003 and bar reviewer at San Sebastian College-Recoletos, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, San Pablo Colleges, Recoletos Cebu, New Era University, Academicus Review Center, Inc., Albano Review Center and Jurists Review Center. A proud graduate of San Sebastian College, she was awarded as its Outstanding Alumnus in 2013 and Outstanding Prosecutor by the City of Manila in 2016
