Norma Dy Lopez-Mariano is a teacher and Certified Public Accountant. She is a Fellow of Singapore’s Royal Institute of Educators, former Dean of Meycauayan College and Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, and a professor since 1978.

She taught at the G. S. Fame Institute of Business in Jakarta, Indonesia, for two years. She was the Chief Financial Officer of the main firm and the Finance Manager of its Philippine sister company. She was Financial Assistant to the President at a California company with 35 nursing facilities. She passed the State and Federal Board Exams to become a Nursing Home Administrator. She was a California and Oregon-licensed nursing home administrator for 11 years.

She returned to the Philippines and resumed her textbook writing and teaching careers. The most recent being Fundamentals of Accountancy, Business and Management Book 1 & 2 and Partnership and Corporation Accounting.
