Dr. Rodel A. Taton, DCL, is the Dean of the Graduate School of Law at San Sebastian College–Recoletos, Manila. A distinguished legal educator and practitioner, he holds degrees from the University of the Philippines in the Visayas, University of San Agustin, and University of Santo Tomas. Specializing in international law and alternative dispute resolution, he is a sought-after MCLE lecturer, Bar reviewer, and certified mediator and arbitrator recognized by the Office for Alternative Dispute Resolution. As co-founder of the Philippine Institute for Dispute Resolution and Arbitration (PIDRA), he champions accessible and modern dispute resolution. He has served as national consultant for the UN FAO and DENR and has undergone advanced international training in law and arbitration across Europe.
