Description
Tristan is a helpful young boy who spends the day assisting his uncle, a master builder, in repairing their village school. As they fix a broken bookshelf, install a tile in the classroom floor, organize chalk in the stockroom, and ride home, Tristan learns to measure length, area, mass, and distance. Through these tasks, his uncle teaches him that careful work and helping others can lead to a bright future. Tired but happy, Tristan realizes that measuring correctly and doing one’s best can make a strong and better school.
