A Litigation lawyer for over 24 years and a CPA by profession since the 80’s. He started teaching in the late 90’s and in 2017, he felt a renewed calling to return to the classroom. Currently, he is a Law Professor at the New Era University, teaching the subjects Persons and Family Relations and Evidence.

He’s an alumnus of Far Eastern University-Institute of Law, and a graduate of BSBA-Accounting at the Lyceum of the Philippines.

At the Far Eastern University-Institute of Law, he is a brother of the Tau Kappa Phi Fraternity. In addition, Atty. Labay is also a member of the World Jurist Association.
