Atty. Ferdinand “Randy” Nague, is a customs broker and the managing partner of Nague Malic Magnawa & Associates Customs Brokers, the biggest and leading customs broker firm catering to the customs clearance needs of mostly multi-national companies. A former Chairman of the Professional Regulatory Board for Customs Brokers under the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). He was once the Chairman of the Technical Committee for Customs Administration of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). He is the author of the leading book on tariff and customs, entitled “Handbook on the Tariff and Customs Code of the Philippines and the Customs Brokers Act of 2004.” He is a regular member of the International Network of Customs Universities (INCU) under the auspices of the World Customs Organization (WCO) and a former consultant for the Philippines accession to the Revised Kyoto Convention (RKC) and one of the technical experts who drafted the bill which is now the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (CMTA).
