Atty. Nelson Urbanes Logronio finished his undergraduate course at the University of the Philippines at Los Baños with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Major in Microbiology. He was later admitted as an academic scholar of Our Lady of Fatima University where he earned his medical degree. He took the Physicians Licensure Examination on February 2003 where he became a topnotcher among 1,415 examinees. He then studied law and earned a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Sto. Tomas.
After passing the Bar Examination, Atty. Logronio joined Soriano Julian & Partners Law Offices where he was trained in various fields of law including corporate, litigation, and appellate practice. In 2012, he established Logronio Law Office and engaged in the general practice of law while maintaining his medical practice as a medico-legal consultant in various hospitals.
As an academician, he is a Legal Medicine and Medical Jurisprudence professor at the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Civil Law, Our Lady of Fatima University College of Medicine, New Era University College of Law and New Era University College of Medicine. In law colleges, he lectures on Labor Law, Torts and Damages, Legal Writing, Legal Forms, and Natural Resources and Environmental Law. He is also a graduate school professor at Our Lady of Fatima University Graduate School where he handles subjects in Hospital Administration, Public Health, Nursing and Allied Health Programs for local and international classes.
Atty. Logronio is a regular guest speaker in medical and legal conferences and has been a national medical board examination reviewer for Legal Medicine, Medical Jurisprudence, and Ethics in medical colleges and review centers since 2009.
