Atty. Hernandez B. Perez’s start in Corporation Law began when he was delegated with corporate matters and cases by the office. He has handled corporate matters from the time of Chair Arcadio Yabyabin to SEC Chair Perfecto Yasay.

This exposure has emboldened his interest in corporation law and he has made him pursue teaching Commercial Law. He has been an academic lecturer for five decades, and eventually served as University President for a decade.

His published works include Quizzer and Reviewer in Corporation Code, Quizzer and Reviewer on Insurance Code, and Quizzer and Reviewer on Transportation Laws and Public Service Act.
