An esteemed alumnus of University of Santo Tomas, prior to his appointment to the Bench, Justice Gabriel was the Head of Litigation and Intellectual Property Rights Department of the Feria Tantoco Robeniol Law Offices. He’s had 28 years of experience in private practice.

He is also a lecturer and Bar Reviewer for his alma mater, teaching the subject Alternative Dispute Resolution. Currently, he has published two books, Alternative Dispute Resolution and The Law On Katarungang Barangay.
