Atty. Ronel U. Buenaventura is currently Legal Officer IV of the Anti-Money Laundering Council Secretariat. Previously, he has served as Legal Officer III of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and has worked as Associate Solicitor III of the Office of the Solicitor General. He is a member of the faculty of the School of Law of Tarlac State University and College of Law of Bulacan State University. He graduated Class Valedictorian and Magna Cum Laude from Bulacan State University College of Law Class of 2015 and ranked 10th in the 2015 Bar Examinations. He finished M.A. Philosophy and B.A. Psychology from the University of the Philippines—Diliman in 2011 and 2009, respectively. He co-authored the book Legal Profession (2017) along with Atty. David Robert C. Aquino.
