Description
There have been a number of people who have been the solid rocks of our struggle for a nuclear-free Philippines for many years. We have drawn counsel from the wisdom of many, and we are grateful for their wise guidance, friendship and comradeship. I am heavily indebted to the former Senator Lorenzo M. Tañada+,Bishop Antonino epomuceno+, to the three who served as NFPC secretary general: Rev. Jose “Pepz” Cunanan, Rev. Elmo Manapat, and Attorney Corazon Fabros; longtime NFPC administrative officer Violeta “Volet” Mendoza+, Junilyn Natividad-Silvestre, Aileen Villar, Dr. Helen Mendoza, Engineer Roberto Verzola+, Sonia Soto, and all the former board members and secretariat staff of the Nuclear Free-Philippines Coalition, volunteers, and other fellow advocates for a nuclear free-Philippines.
