Description
Kort is going to war.
The creeping invasion by the powerful nation of Candaris of its neighboring countries has ended, and now its overt efforts to conquer the world have begun in earnest.
Before Kort could say goodbye to his beloved law office, however, his neighbor, Romeo Dicaprio, pays him a visit on a matter of utmost importance: His wife, Julie Keyos-Dicaprio, has had enough of him. She has filed a petition to have their marriage annulled.
As it happens, the civil courts still do function even in times of war pursuant to the 1987 Constitution. Thus, Kort will have no choice but to face the possibility of a two-front war: against Candaris in the north… and the war of the lovebirds in the west!
Kort has thought of a way to get his friends to reconcile. The solution can be found in a dark cave somewhere in the dreaded Forest of Grungnar, a place many have entered but none of them were ever seen again. But even before Kort and Romeo can confront the terrible guardian of the cave, they will have to survive the whizzing bullets and exploding shells of the million-strong soldiers of their enemy nation.
