The Author, Atty. Josef Manuel L. Descalzo, earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management graduating on top of his class as the Summa Cum Laude with a General Weighted average of 1.06 at the University of the East-Manila/ He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the same University graduating as the Class Salutatorian of batch 2020. In May 2022, the author was admitted to the Philippine Bar after successfully hurdling the #BestBarEver. Before engaging in private practice as a full-fledged lawyer, he was with the Regional Trial Court of Caloocan – Branch 121 where he worked as a Court Decongestion Officer until July 2022. At present, Atty. Descalzo is working as an in-house counsel of a known real estate group of companies.
