The idea of writing a book about the Philippine Territorial Defense is part of my ongoing journey to my country’s paradigm shift from internal to external security. This interest in trying to chronicle the military’s doctrines, strategies, and trainings and how these impact national security policies of different administrations have allowed me to compare and contrast, criticize and scrutinize, and contribute to scholarly works on national defense and national security for nearly two decades now.

This humble work encapsulates the abstract of selected laws as it normally relates or may have bearing in the daily tapestry and dynamics of life in our society.
