It has been a dream for years to have a creative collaboration with my husband – his photographs and my poems and essays. My daughter’s snapshots, a bonus. Each photo in the book is a story in itself – the summers of my youth, the places with fond memories. Free verse has always been one avenue for creative release.
My Mom brought us up loving books, reading a pastime and writing a penchant we all delved in – all my siblings and even our children. My only regret, my Mom is gone. She would have been so happy, I have captured another dream.
