Republic Act (R.A.) No. 11976 or the Ease of Paying Taxes (EOPT) Act is an important piece of legislation which ensures that taxpayers will be able to pay their taxes in the most convenient way. The EOPT Act also institutionalizes administrative efficiency which the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) should strive in the collection of taxes.
