Description

In the aftermath of a terrible world war, the countries that banded together to resist their then-seemingly invincible enemy stand victorious. Creating the League of States, they enact the Crime of Inhumanity that will punish their vanquished foe for all of the horrific acts he committed during the war.

A couple of lawyers tasked to represent him are faced with a conundrum: they know that he committed all of those terrible acts, but they also have the duty to ensure that the rule of law is not so easily discarded by the implementation of what is clearly an ex post facto law.

Running out of time and facing an angry opposition for defending an utterly unpopular client, the two lawyers are going to need all the help they can get. They will have to dive deeper into the philosophy of law like never before. But whatever the case, they will stand their ground; for if they fail, the rule of law will fail with them.

The epic saga of Kort, the wandering lawyer, concludes in this philosophically charged finale!
