This book was inspired by my (Karina Mae P. Garcia’s) experience teaching Legal Forms. One of the key challenges I encountered was the limited availability of updated references. While existing resources continue to provide valuable insights in the field, there remains an opportunity for updates and modernization in view of recent procedural developments.
In conceptualizing the book, we initially considered including in-depth discussions of the substantive laws behind each legal form. However, since these are already comprehensively covered in other law subjects, we chose to focus solely on the forms themselves. This book therefore assumes that readers already have a working knowledge of the law. It aims to illustrate form, not teach
substance.
