Description

During the author’s student days, that is, some decades back, “Partnership” and “Agency” were treated in the law curriculum as two (2) separate subjects. Later, however, these two (2) subjects were incorporated together with “Trusts”, a subject ordinarily covered in “Obligations and Contracts”. This is the situation up to the present time. Partnership is actually a form of agency because in partnership, the partners are agents of each other regarding the business of the partnership.
