“UNDERSTANDING THE SELF TEACHING/LEARNING RESOURCE” is created as a workbook material for Filipino instructors and students taking up Understanding the Self under the General Education Curriculum. Instruction in this course is deemed as critical in understanding how a self-identity develops. Thus, the recognition of effective methodologies become necessary in order to foster habits, behaviors, and attitudes linked to identity achievement. The concluding part of the book features a community college experience in executing a flexible learning plan (a combination of on-campus and online modes of instruction) through experiential learning strategies such as the role play, team working, event organizing, and reflective observations in the form of student papers.
