Description
This book is based on the author’s Master of Arts thesis submitted to the University of the Philippines School of Archaeology (UPSA) in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Arts in Archaeology during Academic Year 2022–2023. The thesis was successfully defended in June 2023 before three members of the UPSA faculty and one external critic from the University of the Philippines College of Law. The study has been revised and expanded for publication to reach a broader audience, including law students, heritage practitioners, and government officials.
