Description
The first volume of the Labor Code involves the vital laws and social legislation measures that prescribe the rules and regulation relating to wages, hours of work, cost of living allowance and other monetary and welfare benefits, including occupational, safety and health standards.
These standards are adopted to magnify the principle of social justice. i.e., the “humanization of laws and the equalization of social and economic forces by the State so that justice in the rational and objectively secular conception may at least be approximated”.
