I yearn for this book to serve as a meaningful contribution to the body of existing knowledge on alternative dispute resolution (ADR) and, ultimately, toward the efficient administration of justice in the country.
This book breathes life to said aspiration by way of the three (3) key strategic thrusts that it aims to pursue, namely: 1) Advance Awareness, 2) Blaze Beyond Borders, and 3) Change the Culture.
Lastly, as a witness to the relentless congestion of several, if not all, dockets of our legal system, underpinned by our litigious culture, an unrelenting cascade of indiscriminately filed cases and shortage of ADR programs in the public and private sectors, I am motivated to challenge this overbearing trend through the analyses of the bane and boon of ADR which are manifested all throughout the judiciously curated chapters of this book.
