Description
The Ethical Bridge was written for social work students and for the practitioner who has ever felt the “tug” of an ethical tug-of-war. It’s for the worker in a rural Philippine province who wonders if declining a ninong or ninang (godparents) invitation is a professional boundary or a cultural insult. It’s for the advocate trying to maintain their own spirit while fighting systemic exhaustion. This book is our attempt to build a sturdy path between the “what to do” found in the IFSW Code of Ethics and the “who we are” as reflected in Philippine social work practice.
