Description
The law on dangerous drugs has shaped much of my professional life. In the courtroom, I have seen how Sec. 21 of R.A. 9165 is argued, scrutinized, and at times, broken. I have witnessed how a single procedural lapse can alter the course of justice, and how precise legal work can uphold it.
This work contains doctrinal discussion with practical application — from the requirements of chain of custody, to the nuances of buy-bust operations, plea bargaining, and the evolving jurisprudence that guides us. I have endeavored to be thorough without being tedious, and principled without being detached.
