A native of Sasmuan, Pampanga, Dr. Atty. Jose Cabrera Montemayor is a practicing interventional cardiologist and an active law practitioner with a focus on litigation in Criminal, Civil, and Medico-Legal cases. He is a Professor of Medicine, Law, Economics, and Criminology in UP, San Beda, San Sebastian, New Era University, PCU, PUP, and Palawan State University.
He is also a Fellow and Diplomate at the Philippine College of Physicians (PCP) and at the Philippine College of Cardiology (PCC). He is a Fellow at Philippine Society of Cardiac Catheterization and Intervention (PSCCI). He was the Board Topnotcher in the Medical Technology Licensure Exams, as well as the Board Topnotcher in Doctor of Medicine.
Legal Counsel to the Philippine Heart Center, Philippine College of Physicians, Philippine Medical Association (Legislative), and Phil. Society of General Surgeons.
He is a former board member of the Asia-Pacific Society for Interventional Cardiology (APSIC), former assistant secretary-general of the Philippine Medical Association, and former vice president of the Philippine Association of Government Corporate Lawyers (PAGCLAW).
Dr. Atty. Jose Cabrera Montemayor is currently a consultant in Internal Medicine, Clinical Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology at St. Luke’s Medical Center, Philippine Heart Center, and National Kidney and Transplant Institute.
