Description
This book entitled “Credit Transactions” is an annotation of Articles 1933 to 2141 of the New Civil Code, which Code became effective on August 30, 1950.
The Scope of “Credit Transactions” includes among others, the (a) principal contracts of loan (commodatum and mutuum) and deposit; (b) the accessory contracts, whose existence depends upon the said principal contracts like guaranty, mortgage and pledge, and (c) preference and concurrence of credits. There are also special laws which fall within its scope like (a) Discontinuance of the Spanish Mortgage System; (b) Extra-judicial Foreclosure of Real Estate Mortgage; (c) The Chattel Mortgage Law; (d) The Ship Mortgage Decree of 1978; (e) Registration of Mortgages, and (f) Pawnshop Regulation Act.
This book is the twelfth (12th) book written by the author and is the ninth (9th) on Civil Law.
