Description
Natural law (or its intellectual tradition) plays an inherent function within the Philippine constitutional system and yet such is either misunderstood or denied outright. This has resulted in struggles within the Philippine constitutional system, faced with complexities bearing components of philosophical and political thought, forcing the system to self-examination particularly when it recognizes contradictory legal thinking, its understanding of the relationship of morality and law, as well as its methodology in interpreting the Constitution.
