This study aimed to determine the viability of Naujan Lake National Park (NLNP) as a tourism economic zone and the potential tourism activities. Specifically, it finds out the different factors of commercial viability and sustainability. Likewise, it determines the infrastructures and activities necessary when NLNP becomes as Tourism Economic Zone. A survey questionnaire was used as the main data gathering instrument for the study. Descriptive statistics such as frequency count, percentage, weighted mean and ranking was also used and 750 research respondents comprising of owners or operators of tourism related businesses and local tourists (visitors) from one city and 14 municipalities in Oriental Mindoro were drawn using convenience sampling. Results revealed that Naujan Lake National Park (NLNP) has a great potential to become a Tourism Economic Zone (TEZ) in Oriental Mindoro.
