Description
With the Legal Education Board’s (LEB) implementation of a Revised Curriculum that addresses emerging and public-interest commercial laws—including the Intellectual Property Code, the Philippine Competition Act, the Data Privacy Act, and the Access Device Regulation Act—I saw a need for a practical, student-focused resource that combines these critical topics in one volume. As a professor of Commercial Law, I recognized the challenge students face in finding comprehensive and accessible materials covering these specialized subjects, which inspired me to develop this book to meet that need.
This book is designed not only to deepen students’ grasp of commercial law but also to aid them in confidently approaching the bar examination. Each chapter breaks down challenging concepts into clear, digestible explanations, focusing on the essential points that bar candidates need to master. To further support exam readiness, the book includes practice questions and bar-style review exercises that align with the topics most commonly tested, allowing students to refine their skills and reinforce their understanding.
