Blessed Nest
This book would have been a ghost of a botched dream if it wasn’t for my mother, Edna S. Vergel , a woman of few words, who told me one Saturday night while I was on the verge of putting the pen to rest that I should press on, that perhaps writing is really my thing. Thank you, Ma. You are my light. We’ll see about the writing.

A Bar Reviewee’s Handbook in Remedial Law
This book eases that anxiety. The coverage is comprehensive, the narrative, simple and uncomplicated. No stone is left unturned. But the shaft is removed from the grain. Only the substantial and essential. But no question in remedial law from both the bar and the bench can escape the reach and ambit of this treatise. Designed principally for bar reviewees, it is recommended as well to students and professors of law who will find in it a panoramic view of all the subject matter in remedial law. Likewise, trial lawyers may derive from this book the needed support in their practice by relying on the latest jurisprudence as footnoted for a particular topic. The Appendices constitute a unique feature in the book which include the cases penned by the 2025 Bar Chair (a most welcome development), as well as the Flowcharts which are novel in the Rules of Court.

Legal Pharmacy and Ethics
This book was inspired by the need to provide Pharmacy Students with a reference material to help them in their study of Pharmacy and in their preparation for the Pharmacist Licensure Examination. For the easy and proper understanding of legal concepts and provisions, the author has endeavored to simplify and explain in the manner that Pharmacy Students will easily comprehend. The approach is different as compared to other law books with the presumption that Pharmacy Students are focused on medical and scientific subjects and not on legal maxims, our system of the government, and/or legal framework. This is necessary in order to first build a working knowledge on the subject matter before one specializes in this area.

Constitutional Law: The Fundamental Powers of the State and Bill of Rights
Since this humble work on Constitutional Law was first introduced in 2022, a lot of doctrines have been modified and/or clarified, among others, the MMDA in relation to police power and eminent domain; clarification on the issuance of administrative warrants by the Bureau of Immigration and deportation; and the introduction and application of the imminent lawless action test on cases involving freedom of expression. Thus, it is necessary to revise and update this work. I also took the time to adjust and correct the layout of the chapters, providing an optimal reading experience for the student and advocate of Constitutional Law.
